Montreal to Quebec City via St. Prosper

The view from the top of 297 steps at the Oratory and the view from below.
 Pay parking in Montreal.

 Feeling artsy
London bridge over the St Lawrence at Trois Riviere
Somebody vandalized this tree with our initials so we considered it a photo op.
Our friends, the Massicottes ( right in front of me) still run the only sugar shack in Quebec completely with bucket collection and horse and sleigh.  Gaetan's family has been on this same land since 1751!
C'est tres bien hospitalitee

At the Citadel and Chateau De Frontenac in Quebec

The place was crawling with soldiers.

In this building, Roosevelt, King and Churchill met in 1944 to agree to the invasion of Normandy.
These are the Plains of Abraham, named after the first name of the shepherd who tended sheep on the plateau, and stuck in history once it was recorded in the military records.
I think I'm going to be a bit better Socials teacher next year.
Love Mr. H.
